Making the most of The Noise App since early 2020
Initially, we purchased The Noise App with a view to using it as a triage tool, but then Covid arrived and changed everything. Due to lockdown restrictions, The Noise App became our ‘go to’ tool for assessing noise complaints.
The Noise App became so useful that it was rolled out across our environmental health and housing teams as well as our safer communities team. In 2023, following successful use of the original app, we took the decision to sign up for The Noise App 2 and subscribe to a Premium package, which gives us greater control.
Another benefit of the Premium version of The Noise App 2 is the ability to allow longer recording times. This is useful to us, as the 30-second limit was quite restricting for some of our clients. We also appreciate the ability to submit photographs and video recordings as part of an evidential package.
Overall, we are very happy with The Noise App 2 and find it to be much more user-friendly than the original version.
